    I think that we see the chefs cooking within very bizarre parameters (using cookbooks, unknown ingredients, pass it on rules etc.) that we forget that when those restrictions are removed they are both professionally trained chefs with over 20 years experience between them. They've travelled the world, tasted food most people don't even know exists, and cooked with some of the best authentic regional chefs in the world whilst on their travels. Basically: well in boys that food looks incredible

    You had to put a warning cos there was meat on the show that hinted at being an actual dead animal? lol I bet the people getting outraged about that sit there doing so chowing down on a burger. A big arse cow doesn't matter but a little rabbit does? As a vegetarian, that seems so hypocritical. I remember the internet lost it's shit over a man preparing a small tortoise to eat. How many fucking stones can these glass house dwellers throw?!?! lol Drives me nuts when people think they think they can dictate what is an animal for consumption and what isn't.

    I wonder how many people realized the significance of how they cooked the rabbit? They used two OPPOSING methods to do it. Low heat gentle cooking over a longer time via sous vide, and extremely high heat pressure cooking to shorten the cook time. Literally opposite heating methods which they ended up using in the same main course plate That's crazy

    Easter was originally spelled Ostara Or Ēostre after the pagan goddess of the same name. She was a fertility goddess who was associated with rabbits and eggs because an egg houses new life and rabbits mate like... well, rabbits. It was celebrated by having massive parties and (like most celebrations of different pagan fertility gods) a lot of drink and “love”. Christianity took one look at this celebration and, because they were on a quest to try and eradicate almost every other religion, said “no, this is now the birthday of our God’s son! You must celebrate by being kind and gentle and absolutely do not do that disgusting stuff! With your partners!”

    This was really an eye opener in various ways, like what you can do with food and your pro chef abilities. Like barry's said we knew you were good at what you do, but it's quite hard for normals like the rest of us to truly grasp what's a pro chef really capable of. I really appreciate episode like this one that gives normals a glimpse of it. Too bad we don't get to taste any of it though lol

    Rabbit has to soak overnight in either buttermilk/milk, vinegar or lemon/lime, then marinade, cooking it straight away might not suit most people's taste.

    All that looks beautiful 😍especially the soup w/egg nest. I don't eat meat or rabbit..But it's a good way to get people to eat rabbit and I don't think it's sadistic. It's just that people don't cook with that often. I definitely want to try to make the yummy looking doughnut rolls😘
