    I'm a bacon man. Slap a few slices of bacon in that and we are good to go. Also try seasoning the egg with Herb de Provence.

    I absolutely LOVE James' matter of factness and blunt cutting through the trendy b*llsh!t. He's not knocking that carrot recipe, but quite rightly it's not bacon. I can't help find his character and beard incredibly manly. Makes me want to sit..... at his dining table and enjoy a meal with him. 😁

    In my experience, as an ex-vegatarian and lover of food, vegans (and health-conscious people I guess), many that is but not all, seem to have some idea that salt is inherently bad. They say it causes water retention, headaches (like msg's bad rep), weight gain, high blood pressure. You never get this from a doctor, dietician, or nutritionist these days. Some salt is okay. LOTS of salt is not, but it's pretty hard to OD on it. It's possible, but you'd probably not like it. The point is, you can season your healthy food; adding a pinch of salt won't make it unhealthy. Even people with high blood pressure can have a bit of salt (salt is really only an issue for people with high blood pressure AND kidney problems) The real issue is if you're eating a high-salt diet, it's likely you're consuming a lot of junk food. D'uh. And if you dump a pile of salt on all the healthy protein and veg you're eating in the form of dips, dressing, etc, well then it's not that healthy. So yeah, In conclusion, a little bit of salt won't kill you.

    I think the egg bread thingy would be nicer if you scratch the cheese and put fresh tomato, cracked pepper, and fresh chives 🤤 maybe even a sauce, like hp sauce? Or chutney? Maybe a nice relish?

    It's because in the UK, Slush Puppy (a crushed iced drink) has a bright blue coloured raspberry flavoured drink. Some sweets/candy/jellos also have the same blue colour for raspberries in the UK. It's like a tradition.

    3 - My parents and I tried this, sadly making one for each of us, which was a MISTAKE! It's a LOT to eat. We did use American Cheese, although deli cheddar or colby would be better. We also fried up bacon first and used that, no herbs, just bacon, cheese, eggs, and bread, and it was delicious! Just a massive sandwich, easily enough for two to share.

    @ChaCha mine wasn't that thick. I made it thin like a slice of bread. It tasted eggy but it wasn't too bad. More for a breakfast meal in my opinion. They were great instead of hamburger buns. Made the hamburger taste different but in a good way.

    In Brazil we have a merengue thingy like that, although more elastic and not in the form of a loaf which, as kids, we used to love. It’s called Maria Mole, or something like Soft or Spongy Mary.

    For the egg thing... I would’ve made fried bread (fried on both sides of both slices) and either fried eggs or scrambled eggs. I do that whenever I make that kind of thing and it’s very good. I don’t know why you’d bother with the flipping unless you were pressed for time, in which case I would grab a yogurt and some fruit.

    BACON, BACON BACON BACON. ADD BACON TO THAT EGG SANDWICH!!! If you're in a hurry, you can just use the pre-cooked bacon you buy in stores - it's already crispy..... or take the time out and cook your own crispy bacon. For me, this is a pretty obvious choice as I absolutely love bacon. In fact, I'm going to try to cook one of those egg sandwiches - with bacon - tomorrow morning..... I already have pre-cooked bacon. Thanks for introducing me to this recipe! One last thing: I think that "cloud bread" might go good with some type of sauce or frosting.

    I probably would have used an aged white cheddar to compliment the sausage and egg or even a cobey jack gives a nice Bold Flavor that wouldn't have a weird Tang like sharp cheddar or something that overpowers the spiciness of the sausage

    I think we need some new head to head to head battles, seems like the lads have learned a fair bit since the last ones. As for themes; most pretentious dish? Best cafe lunch? Most hipster recipe? Environmentally sustainable ultimate battle? Most expensive recipe? Exotic food? Modern fine dining? Pack lunch battle? I miss the battles and the banter, and sure I’m not the only one.

    it’s always been so weird to me that vegans won’t eat animal products but then still seem to be obsessed with making things that are supposed to taste like meat like “vegan bacon” or make veggie burgers that look like they are bleeding... don’t get it

    I had an interesting breakfast sandwich. It was supposed to be egg, cheese (cheddar slice), and sausage. But instead of sausage patty it was a smoked frank/sliced brat type of thing. Kinda addictive....

    The last egg bread would be great with crispy fried onions or potatoes crisps for crunch. That or crisp some Parm and sprinkle it in just before folding

    That sandwich is definitely something that I’ll need to try...and I wouldn’t coat both sides of the bread so I’d have more of a grilled cheese texture. A thin slice of tomato and onion, possibly mushrooms with an extra sharp cheddar. Conversely with the eggy bread option, use cinnamon raisin bread and sliced apples...cheese would possibly be a ricotta, marscapone, or cream cheese

    Background: I'm pretty sure cloud bread is for people who cannot have "normal" bread (e.g. low-carb diabetics, Keto fans, people with celiac disease, or gluten allergies). I've usually seen it smaller/flatter and used as a substitute for bread in sandwiches, which would give it flavor from the sandwich ingredients. I think I'd fold in some fine shreds of fresh herbs before cooking to make it delish. Cheers!

    Maybe to add the bit of crunch you could add a bit of crispy fried onion and garlic? It would add two extra layers of flavor while adding some texture to it.
