Mystery Box Challenge | Making a 100 Layer Lasagne!!

DIY 和生活百科

#WithMe - Anyone here a fan of a lasagne or lasagna recipe? Well today, your dreams have come true because James has a Mystery Box Challenge where Mike will try to make a lasagne with 100 LAYERS using unused ingredients from our studio kitchen. This masterpiece was invented by Chef, Mark Ladner in 2009 for the New York City restaurant, Del Posto. That’s 50 layers of fresh pasta, in between another 50 layers of sauce. Sounds easy, right?
Watch now to see if Mike manages to pull it off in this self-isolation special!
*Don’t panic, no ingredients were wasted in the making of this video. The result is currently frozen for Ben and James to try in person!*

What an epic recipe! Good on Mike for taking on that challenge and succeeding! I can hear how much more confident he is. "Make a bechamel" "OK" "15 egg yolks" "WHAT!? Okay" Rolling with the punches and bringing out an amazing dish. Well done! That is one thing this time is doing. I was down sick for WEEKS, husband had to do all the cooking, and there were no microwave meals. He's developed a good repertoire of comfort meals that he can cook in less than 1/2 hour that taste good and are made from ingredients in our fridge nearly all the time anyway. So proud of him!
